Conrad Kakraba is the Executive Assistant to the President of Heritage Christian College, Amasaman-Accra. He is also a Lecturer in Communication at the university and a Campus Minister at Heritage College church of Christ.
Conrad is earning a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Communication and Media Management) from Open University of Malaysia (through Accra Institute of Technology, AIT). He holds a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Sikkim Manipal University- India. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with Linguistics from the University of Ghana where he also served as Tutorial Assistant during his National Service. He has received training in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry from the International School of Biblical Studies, South Africa.
Conrad was a Lecturer in Communication, Humanities and African Studies in the Business School and Faculty of Law of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, GIMPA for 4 years. He also taught at Ideal College, Ghana's Best Remedial School for 11 years.
Conrad worked with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation as a Reporter, News Anchor, Editor, Program Producer/Host and Commentator for 7 years where he anchored many high-profile events. He was awarded Ghana's Best Journalist in Political Reporting in 2013 by the Ghana Journalists Association and was a two-time finalist for Best TV Male News Anchor in 2014 and 2015 at the Radio and Television Personality Awards. He also covered international conferences in Austria and India.
Conrad is the CEO of Conrado Consult (a media, public relations, public speaking training and communication consulting firm) and has consulted for several organizations and businesses and is a Personal Development Coach, motivational speaker and author.
He is passionate about youth development and education and has mentored thousands of Ghanaian youth at over 300 youth, student and church programs across Ghana.
