Our Story
Co-Founder Kimberli Brackett has been making trips to Ghana for over a decade! She had pictures of Ghanaian children that she has been blessed to build lifelong relationships with since 2009 that sparked her students’ interest.
We completed our first project with Prosperity Academy to give kids close to Lake Volta a chance to get educated. Lake Volta is the epicenter of child slave trafficking. Families in poverty feel forced to let their kids work for unfair wages and extremely harsh conditions.
We are so excited to share our building progress for Prosper Life Career Institute. We currently completed Phase 1 and are continuing to raise funds to complete all 5 Phases. Rather than build a typical vocational school, PLCI will equip, educate and train Ghanaian youth in innovative trades and businesses that will enable them to create industry, pursue entrepreneurship and end the cycle of poverty.

Our KPK supporters of all ages host their own fundraising/donating operations and give 100% of their profits to Kids Prosper Kids. We wouldn’t have nearly enough space for all of their efforts, but we appreciate every last one of them. Follow us on social to see the latest!
Kimberli shared her stories and love for her Ghanaian youth to her 5th grade class, and they instantly discovered that because they have access to life-changing education and resources in Texas, so should all the youth in Ghana.
God graciously provided 10 acres of land for us to purchase near Kumasi in 2017 and then graciously provided a gift of an additional 30 acres in Tepa, where we are building Prosper Life Career Institute.
Phase one is complete! The sod-cutting ceremony in Ghana was a SUCCESS! Will you help us with Phase 2?
We adopted a section of the highway to clean up as part of our local efforts in Prosper. We regularly host sign ups to clean the road and do our part locally to help the planet!
Here, a group of members are at the Children’s Hunger Fund. Every month, Our KPK Prosper Chapter hosts service events for our members to give back to our community. It is important for our community to know that we are giving back to the less fortunate around us as well as abroad.
