IT Training
At Legacy Career Institute, our IT training equips students with the essential digital skills needed to thrive in today’s technology-driven world. The program begins with a solid foundation in basic computing—covering digital literacy, internet use, computer operations, and online communication—so that all students develop a working knowledge of technology regardless of their background.
As they progress, students are introduced to both software and hardware concepts, helping them explore a wide range of opportunities. This exposure is designed to build confidence, curiosity, and adaptability while encouraging students to think critically and solve real-world problems through technology.
IT training at LCI empowers students to not only use technology effectively, but also see it as a tool for innovation, entrepreneurship, and social transformation—both in Ghana and globally.
IT Curriculum
All students begin with introductory IT courses, where they learn the basics of computer use, digital tools, internet navigation, and responsible tech habits. From there, the curriculum expands into two main pathways: software and hardware.
After completing the foundational phase, students have the opportunity to specialize based on their interest and aptitude.
The software path may include training in areas like coding, digital media, productivity applications, and online collaboration.
The hardware path introduces students to mobile phone repairs, hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, and device diagnostics.
Throughout their time at Legacy Career Institute, students engage in hands-on training, guided projects, and mentorship—allowing them to apply what they’ve learned in practical settings. Our goal is to create confident, capable individuals who can compete in the digital space and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
