Our why

The best antidote to poverty is SKILLS TRAINING AND ENTREPRENUERSHIP.

The heart of LEGACY IMPACT is to build a career institute where the youth in Ghana receive innovative leadership, business, and skills training with a view toward entrepreneurship and specific industry opportunities.

In Ghana, young people aged 15-35 constitute 38% of the population, while children under age of 15 make up another 35%.

According to the Ghana Statistical Service, the national youth unemployment rate for young adults of 15-24 years, is about 32.8%.

The current minimum daily wage in Ghana is Ghs 14.88 ($1.35) per day and Ghs 461.28 ($41.85) per Month.

Research has revealed that only about 10% of all University graduates gain employment in the public service annually and this has left many graduates to wallow in a mental frame of hopelessness.
